My favorite dessert in the world, above all the eclairs of Paris, the lobster tails of Boston, the key lime pies of Florida, tiramisus, acai bowls, and every single gelato flavor, my favorite of them all barely exists on this earth. The sacred components are split between two buildings in one historic town… and nowhere else.
I’ll tell you all the secret.
A 100 year old restaurant called Marsh Landing sells the gooiest, fluffiest, most delicious toasted coconut cream pie. Outside of the Floridian restaurant, just a hopscotch to the right is a trinket shop guarded by a green and yellow parrot named “Buoy”. Inside this shoplet of handcrafted gifts, they make their personal homemade recipe called “Frog Jam” (Fig, Raspberry, Orange, Ginger). Buy a jar, “and then some”, make a beeline to Marsh Landing, get the coconut slice, then put the jam on top of it about 1:1 ratio or to taste. Taste it, and it will be as though you’ve uncovered every secret desire man has lusted for and God has hidden.
Enjoy the forbidden fruit “and then some”.
Yeahhh, I know I said I'd work on fiction but I was just reminded of this and had to share. This is absolutely not fiction though if you tried this dessert you'd think it was.
